Gifford House, close to Gateshead town centre, provides supported accommodation for eleven people age 18+ who are single homeless and in need of support.
We offer residents a settled and structured way of life and provide a supportive and safe environment.
We develop an individual and holistic development plan with each resident. We help develop basic living skills, such as cooking on a budget, basic housekeeping and managing money. We support key and vocational skills development through education and training which, in turn, enable sustained independent living.
Our aim is build confidence and ability to enable residents to move on to accommodation with lower levels of support or into the own accommodation with floating support.
