Michael Shields

With a food industry background, Michael held a number of management roles in the dairy industry and fulfilled the role of Marketing Manager for Dairy Farmers of Britain up until 2009. His experience from the food industry combined with a BA (Hons) in Business Management has helped enable The Cyrenians FareShare North East to take strides towards financial sustainability and to expand and enhance the service it provides. Michael is also a member of The Cyrenians Communications Team.

Married with two daughters, Michael is a qualified teacher and is currently attempting to learn how to speak Italian whilst maintaining his life long devotion to Manchester United.
