Jackie has an MBA from Durham University and has had a varied career working in sales and marketing roles for over 15 years, latterly for BP selling gas to industry. She decided to have a complete change in career and took some time out to do some voluntary work in Ghana, then returned to the UK and worked as a Corporate Fundraiser for a Youth Charity for two years, before joining Greggs the Bakers as Community Initiatives Manager, overseeing all Greggs charity work.
Jackie has lived in Jesmond for since 1990 and enjoys walking in the Lakes, keep fit, skiing and travel in general, and has had a season ticket for Newcastle United for over 13 years although it seems like longer.
