Jez (Jeremy) is a specialist in Health, Safety and Environment matters with over 18 years experience. He has a background in industry, the military, local government and the Department of Health. Jez has spoken at international conferences on Health and Safety matters and has given expert evidence to a House of Commons Select Committee.
During his time at the Commission for Social Care Inspection, Jez began working on social care issues, this included contributing to National Care Standards, and working directly with the Health and Safety Executive on managing risk in social care. This work culminated with contributing to the Memorandum on Risk and Safety in Social Care jointly published by the HSE, CSCI and LACORS.
Jez is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health and a Registered Member of the Association for Project Safety. He has been involved with The Cyrenians for a number of years and advises on a wide range of health and safety matters.
