Bupa Great North Run 2012
The Bupa Great North Run is the world's most popular half marathon. The atmosphere on the day is electric with over 52,000 people racing from the centre of Newcastle and finishing on the coast at South Shields.
Use Your Own Place to Support Us
The Official Ballot for The Bupa Great North Run closes at Midday on Monday 6th February. After the ballot closes you will be notified whether you have been successful in securing your own place in the race. If you have been lucky enough to get your own place on the run then you can join Team Cyrenians as an own place runner. This means there are no set sponsorship targets, we only ask you to raise as much as can.

If you are unsuccessful or have missed the Official Ballot, The Cyrenians do have a limited number of guaranteed places. These are available on a first come first served basis.
There is a small registration fee of £68, and we ask that you aim to raise £100 in sponsorship.
