Sustainable Change Project

The Sustainable Change Project is a specified activity aimed at reducing reoffending. We will support clients to create a personalised programme of activities to improve their prospects for training and employment.

By participating in the project fully clients will:

Choose activities and training from a wide range of options that can include: Customer Service, Catering Skills, Basic Gardening, Basic cooking, Football, Multi Sport, Gym and many more, with some activities that are specifically tailored for females only.

Who do we work with?

The Sustainable Change Project works with those people who are:

  • On a community order or a suspended sentence order.
  • With a minimum of 12 months supervision.
  • Over 18 years of age.
  • Willing to change their lifestyle away from offending.
  • Wanting to learn new skills.
  • Looking to improve future opportunities.
  • Understand and agreeing that relevant information will be shared between the Cyrenians and Probation.

How does the project work?

  • We will assign you a personal activity coordinator.
  • We will support you to help remove barriers from taking part and achieving.
  • You will be supported to get the most out of this service through workshops and group activities.
  • You will also receive support to progress with a plan for your future following the programme.
